Karen “Kaz” Aston was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis scant weeks before she was to complete her education in becoming a medical nurse when she was told she had MS. That was over 20 years ago.
Kaz lives in the United Kingdom and through her advocacy for people afflicted with MS she has become a light for so many impacted by MS and more. Her attitude right from the onset of her diagnosis was not about to stop Kaz Aston. In fact, she decided that she was going to live life to its fullest and that is exactly what “Kaz” does each and every day.
Karen set forth to create the “The Really Clear Guide To MS” a starting point for people diagnosed with the disease to begin an accurate informational journey of MS awareness. Not stopping there she set forth a journey of her own into media and even top fuel drag racing.
Living in the United Kingdom Kaz Aston became CEO of her own business and her accomplishments are impressive. From TV interviews receiving critical acclaim to work within the London England Rotary, then creating the amazing Monarchy Online Website Karen’s advocacy for multiple sclerosis patients is unceasing.
From fashion design at A & L Fashion of London, CEO of Monarchy Online to an associate editor at the world known British Medical Journal Karen Aston’s MS set her forth on an incredible journey that continues to this day.
The Multiple Sclerosis Global Support Network (MSGSN) and MS & Me Media are delighted to share with the MS community Erika Lyons Richardson’s interview with Karen “Kaz” Aston.
